Tips when photographing vehicles

Hey everyone. This is just my own personal take on photographing vehicles. Please when you take a pic of a really nice vehicle, get a pic of it with the hood/bonnet down. Most people like to see the lines of the whole vehicle. Do take multiple shots of the sides of the vehicle if you want(front, side, back, engine, interior). This also includes other objects as well. Think of it like it is your vehicle and you are showing it off or trying to sell it. You want the most photo bang for your time and effort. With any luck, you will hopefully get more faves of your pictures.



This is just a suggestion. You don't have to follow any of it. Also, I understand that sometimes the opportunity is not available to take pics from every angle.

I take many of my shots at car shows. Many times the owners are out looking at other cars or sometimes they just don't want to close hoods and trunks. I wish they would because you are correct in that it make for a nicer photo.
